At Portimao, Bautista fumbled when he started at second place however he took the lead within no time and took control of the race in the fifth lap.
For Bautista, it was his Ducati that was aggressive that made him overtake Van der Mark, Lowes and Haslam and Rea who dominated the race.
Bautista took the lead however he was not challenged until the last lap when Rea came close enough to beat him however focused Bautista maintained the lead.
The Turk Razgatlioglu stood third on the table he started from the second row. However, Razgatlioglu too remained focused and was able to provide a competitive fight with both Bautista and Rea.
Lowes stood ahead of Haslam and he to prooved that he cannot be undermined as well. Haslam was able to grab the fifth position on the table.
Overall a great race that saw a duel between Bautista and Rea for the first position.
