With BS6 norms coming in place from April 2020 in India, plus, every manufacturer is coming up with BS6 machines, it is high time that Yamaha also pulls there socks.
Recently we have seen TVS Jupiter BS6 and Honda Activa BS6 in forefront.
But now Yamaha has brought 125cc scooter and entered into this niche segment. The price of this scooter starts from Rs 66,430.
125cc Fi is the elder sibling of 110cc Fascino and is on sale till March 2020.
The 125cc Fi comes in four differenr variants.
- Standard Drum Brake – Priced at Rs 66,430.
- Standard Disc Brake – Priced at Rs 68,930
- Deluxe Drum Brake – Priced at Rs 67,430 and
- Deluxe Disc Brake – Priced at Rs 69,930
All the above prices are Ex-Showroom Delhi prices.
There are few updates in this variant.
What changes in the 125cc Fi?
- The front remains as is while the rear gets updated with a new tail lamp. The tail lamp is much large compared to 110 cc.
- The engine now is fuel-injected that gives rise in power.
- It also comes with a 110mm tire that is wider compared to 110cc.
- Expect the milage to be 60kpl, which is decent.
- 125cc gets 1 hp of power rise when compared to 110cc
As Honda Activa 125 BS6 gets silent start similarly, we see the quiet engine start in Fascino 125 Fi.
In addition to the above, it also gets the start-stop function. Another plus point that Fascino 125 Fi gets it is cheaper when compared to Honda Activa BS6.
