The Triumph Trident 2021, when compared with old, the new doesn’t lose much DNA as we still see those lines are present in the new Trident. Plus the old and new get three cylinders each.
The design is the brainchild of Rodolfo Frascoli an eminent and gifted Italian designer who has several designs on his name. Few being Triumph Triumph Speed Triple, Tiger 1050, Moto Morini Corsaro, Granpasso, Scrambler, Suzuki Katana, Triumph Tramontana and VR46.
As we go further, we focus on the design and its components.
The 660c, Liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder comes from the Street Triple 675. We understand the motor isn’t new; however, Triumph updated around 67 components. Plus the Trident 660 gets a new exhaust altogether wherein the exhaust gets narrower at the bottom.
