The 300 cc segment is getting hot. We have seen Royal Enfield bringing the new Meteor 350 last year. The Meteor 350 competes with the newly launched Honda CB350.
Further, at the start of 2021, we have seen Benda putting its much-acclaimed naked roadster Asura in production.
And now Benda’s has unveiled its 300cc cruiser called BD300 Sporty in Italy.
The BD300 comes with a 298cc, liquid-cooled V-Twin that makes 30 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 19.2 lb-ft of torque. And further aligns with the Euro 5 norms.
The engine gets support from a 6-speed gearbox, and the engine achieves the 150 kmph (93mph) as top speed.
The 298cc comes wrapped within the tubular steel frame and has a USD fork at the front and dual shocks at the rear.
The total weight of the package is 170 kgs (375) pounds. The fuel tank gets the 15 litres ( 4 gallons) capacity.
With LED and digital dash, the BD300 gets a few retro characteristics. On the design front, the cruiser has a classic style.
Benda BD300 arrives in three different liveries like grey, red and black. In Italy, the Benda costs around €5,450 (USD 6,530).
However, we don’t see Meteor 350 and CB350 making 30 hp. The 300cc market, as we said, is getting hot, and who knows, we may also get to see the Hero 361 Symbol, a concept by Oberdan Bezzi, in production.
