Cover-LiveWire

Harley-Davidson has been tight-lipped about plans for the LiveWire platform since they started breaking off into its network, but now we have a price tag.

It is expected that the LiveWire will only be sold through Harley dealerships and that it won’t compete with existing Harley models in any way.

They will sell the LiveWire ONE through a direct-to-consumer sales model, which should help keep the final price down.

One thing it won’t do, though, is competing directly with Harley’s Freewheeler and Heritage Classic models.

The LiveWire ONE will share those low MSRPs when they arrive in July 2021, but the LiveWire ONE won’t have the features those bikes offer.  It also won’t provide a Harley-Davidson badge.

And this is what has happened.

The detailed information about the features of this motorcycle has been published on the US NHTSA website.

Interestingly, they will significantly improve the performance of this model than the original model.

What does it get?

According to the record, the motorbike will get 101 hp; however, the company claims to be 105 hp and 86 ft-lbs of torque.

There are few changes in the expectation and the model LiveWire One. The difference that the brand proposes shows about giving it a new style to make it more attractive.

In terms of features, LiveWire One arrives with most of the technology.

The bike arrives with a 15.4 kWh unit battery with DC fast charging capability. Harley claims the battery charges zero to 80 per cent in 40 minutes and 100 per cent in the span of an hour.

Further, the bike has 146 miles range in city and traffic; the company claims to be 95 miles.

The figures do look good. Showa Big Piston performs suspension duties on the front and Showa balance-free rear cushion-lite mono-shock at the rear.

The brakes are dual four-piston radial Brembo monoblock on the front, while on the opposite end, we see a two-piston single disc.

Wheels are cast aluminium 17-inch black having five spokes supported by Michelin Scorcher Sport rubber tires.

The bike weighs 254 kgs with a seat height of 30 inches. In the US, the bike costs $21,999, and the critical point to notice is the significant price drop.

We would see the bike unveiled at the IMS Outdoors North California show on July 18, 2021.
