Jerez is giving surprises after surprises with yesterdays pole position being taken by youngest 20 year old Frenchmen, Fabio Quartararo accompanied with his bike Petronas Yamaha SRT.
Fabio broke both the lap record with inside 1:36.880 that was the also the previous fastest ever lap on the track. While Morbidelli and Marque stood 2nd and 3rd at pole position with lap timings of 1:36.962 and 1:36.970 respectively.
He said ” The results are incredible and he still cant believe that he took the pole position, so the experience is fantastic.He gave credit to his entire team who has been working throughout the entire weekend. Fabio further said his pace was good and he hopes he can win the Jerez MotoGp.
The team is new and what they had done as an entire unit to achieve this phenomenal pole position is wonderful and hope they achieve and go on like this in future as well “.
