Once Moto3 champion Mir replaces Andrea Iannone at Suzuki after a solitary season in Moto2, while Rins – who finished his 2018 crusade with three platform completes in the last four races – goes into his third year with the group.

Rins is pursuing his first MotoGP triumph in the wake of completing second on three events a year ago, with the group having gone winless since Maverick Vinales’ 2016 triumph at Silverstone.

Mir follows in the strides of Vinales and Rins in acquiring a spot at Suzuki after just a single year in the middle class.

“Being practical, the current’s year will likely step by step enhance, begin in Qatar with a decent execution and end the year enhancing race-by-race,” said Mir.
