In September 2020 for the first time now we saw the Aprilia Tuareg 660 getting spotted. We were able to see the teaser in the last EICMA when a front portion, especially the tire, was visible.
However, we don’t see much from this shot either. All we could see is the structure like an ADV with large wheels and mono-shock and upside-down forks.
- Is Aprilia building a new ADV?
- Aprilia to discontinue to Shiver and Dorsoduro 900
- Kymco teases the CV2 concept
Visible are other components like the small fairing and the tall windscreen.
Unlike the RS 660, the mid-size Adv Tuareg 660 will get the new parallel twin-cylinder 660 engine.
Tuareg 660 will come stacked with other goodies like traction control, cruise control, riding models, TFT dash, LEDs and more.
Full Avatar
Further now we can see the Tuareg 660 in full avatar.
The prototype spotted has a small round headlight with an upright handlebar. And a short windshield.
The exhaust is large. However, we don’t see this as a final exhaust as it may change.
We further also see the spoke wheels. We don’t see the rear swingarm loaned from either RS 660 and Tuono 660. As it is a straight swingarm. The entire package looks slim and compact.
However, we know all the features from the prototype may not arrive in production. We did say and Aprilia has now confirmed that they will unveil the new ADV by end of 2021.
However, when it comes to India there are no timelines as yet.
