In March 2019 LivingWithGravity had reported that Ducati boss had already confirmed on Streetfighter V4 to Acid Motos.

AcidMoto.ch: Okay. Let’s talk about the V4. The Panigale V4R wins all the votes, although we have not yet had the honor to test it. Can we hope that this engine is found on other motorcycles, a Streetfighter V4 for example?
Claudio Domenicali: Do you think that Ducati should produce such a motorcycle?
AcidMoto.ch: Yes, there is a big demand, it’s a question that often comes back to our readers.

Now there are more details revealed.
This most awaited 1103CC with V4 layout is going to debut at Pikes Peak Hill Climb event this year.However few things to be note are.
- EICMA in November will have Ducati Streetfigher to be publicly showcased.
- Fairing and handles of V4 are going to go and will be substituted with naked body and wide handle bar to easy composure for rider.
- As the layout is V4 it is bound to get V4 engine that will come from Pangile V4 and could be retuned for normal use.
- It will have Akrapovic pipes and headlamp cowl for Pike Peaks event.
