After the resurrection of Jawa Mahindra and Mahindra now aims to resurrect the British icon motorcycle brand BSA.

BSA as it is called Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited was a combination of multiple businesses like sporting firearms, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, buses, bodies and more.

The brand was born in 1919 and was alive for 53 years before going defunct in 1972.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra confirmed the resurrection. As per the Guardian. Mahindra is looking forward to building a research unit in Banbury UK.

Speaking to the Guardian Anand, Mahindra said: “The UK was the leader in bikes right from the start,”.

Mahindra is also looking forward to building electric bikes which will arrive in the coming year.

However, we expect a conventional BSA to arrive in market from Mahindra before there electric bikes.

There is no information on the which and what BSA bikes Mahindra wants to resurrect.

However, we do see the brand coming to India and Europe in the coming few years.
