After two decades, we see Piaggio throws a new life in its 300 and 400cc Beverly scooters. And it is for the international market.

We now see a completely new Beverly with updated conventional equipment, engine and the look.

Engine

The Beverly comes with the High-Performance Euro5 engine, and they come in two displacements 300 and 400cc respectively. The 350cc engine comes replaced by the new 400cc.

Both these motors are single-cylinder liquid cool, four valves, four-stroke. 300cc comes with 25.8 hp at 8000 rpm compared to the earlier version Piaggio Beverly 300 2020 which does mean there is an increase in power by 23%. 

Further, it gets 26 Nm at 6250 torque which is increased by 15%.

On the other hand, the 400cc motor now calibrates with 35.4hp at 7,500rpm and 37.7 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

Design and Frame

The new Beverly looks sharp with curvy lines making the front portion unique. Piaggio designers made it sure the front looks subtle and enhanced.

While if you look at the side, it looks more muscular. The LED flashers on the front look neat and come more or less in‘ Boomerang ‘ shape for better visibility.

And if you look little upwards, the LED headlight comes positioned between the handlebar.

And below the headlight, we could see the small grille, and it almost goes close up to the front fender.

Beverly comes complimented with LED light at the rear which comes located below the support handle for the pillion. Beverly 400 comes with the new license plate holder.

New spoke wheels with saddle, and it has double stitching as well as calm upholstery.

The frame is a robust double-cradle steel frame supported by 16 inch and 14-inch rims at the front and rear. Further, the 400cc also has wider tires at the front, 120/70 and 150/70 at the back.

With five positions adjustable preload it also gets a new pair of Showa shock absorbers and 35 mm Showa forks. The 400cc variant also has the standard fairing and the double exhaust.

Electronic Package

Entirely new digital 5.5-inch dash helps to showcase multiple performance parameters and comes placed between the handlebar.

Accompanied by the keyless start, the Beverly 400 gets the standard equipment as MIA connectivity to connect a smartphone via Bluetooth.

Variants

Beverly comes in two variants. 

  • Standard: The standard model gets three paint schemes in gloss, and they are Oxygen blue, Moon white and Cloud grey.
  • S: S gets the matte finish and has three available colours Black tempesta, Orange sunset and Silver comet. S also gets grey rims and black seat.
