Much awaited Triumph Speed Twin is launched in India also bookings have started as confirmed by dealers across India.It carry forwards the much acclaimed DNA Of Triumph Bonneville.The Speed Twin looks sharp and uses more chrome.
The modern classic combines the raw power of Thruxton R as it shares the same engine. The 1200 cc, Liquid-cooled, 8 valve, SOHC, 270° crank angle parallel-twin engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox having a max torque of 112Nm @ 4,950 rpm.
It comes in 3 paint scheme comes in Jet Black, Silver Ice and Storm Grey all of them look beautiful. It also gets a new frame with good ergonomics. Suspension set up gets 41mm diameter of front fork. It also gets three riding modes Sport, Road and Rain, LED Lightning, immobliser, USB charging socket, twin clocks, and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The ride by wire and ABS manages the high torque of Speed Twin.With tapered handlebars it has low seat which gives rider the comfortable stance to ride for long hauls. At front it gets Brembo 4 piston axial calipers with twin floating discs, at the rear it gets Nissin 2 caliper and single disc.
Premium brushed aluminium front and rear mudguards, throttle body covers, side panel finishers and heel guards also adorn the Speed Twin.
The price tag starts from Rs 9.46 Lakhs Exshowroom at Delhi.
